Seashore Galvanizing Factory, an ISO 9001 Certified company, was established in the year 1998. The Factory is located in the industrial area of Al-Khor, which is in proximity to the Ras-Laffan industrial city and also only less than an hour drive from Me-saieed industrial city and Doha industrial area. Equipped with all modern facilities for the production of Hot Dip Galvanized products, the factory is at present catering to the requirements of M/s. Qatar Petroleum, Qatar Gas, Ras-Gas, QP, QAFAC, Q–Chem, and for all other major projects in oil and gas sector as well as for Kahramaa, roads, building Engineering Department.
Hot dip galvanizing is the process of coating iron & steel articles with zinc for protection against corrosion, by dipping the articles in molten zinc, at a temperature of 455±50C. It is the most proven, unique, effective & economical method for protecting steel from decaying.
Since inception in the year 1998, within a short period of 2 years the Quality system of SGF was registered under ISO 9002:2000 and certified by BVQi in November 2000 and eventually upgraded to the latest standards ISO 9001:2008.
